Osprey Aether AG 70 Specifications

Carrying Comfort

The Osprey Aether AG 70 backpack can carry a significant amount of load with comfort and ease. This is made possible by the backpack’s design of a unique AG suspension system: Anti-Gravity Suspension. The back system integrates a premium AG suspension with Osprey’s IsoForm hip belt. The special design of the hip belt provides a nice, molded fit on its users.

The broad-mesh lumbar support the backpacks comes with has infused into them stiff load bars. These stiff bars allow for precise distribution of weight. This helps to relieve the pressure exerted on the shoulders by the load in the backpack. This will make climbing hills easy.

Comfort on the shoulder is also guaranteed by the presence of a sliding sternum strap as well as adjustable shoulder straps.

Functionality And Durability

The main body of the backpack is constructed from 201D Nylon Dobby material, which helps to exert its solid build as well as durability further. The various accents of the backpack are formed from 201D high-tenacity Nylon Shadow Box.

Also, the bottom of the backpack is made from 500D Nylon Packcloth to help it resist tear and wear. The Osprey Aether AG 70 also comes with multiple comprehension straps on the sides as well as the front so that the backpack center weight can stay close to the body.

Weight

The Osprey Aether AG 70 backpack weighs above 5 pounds, and it is most likely the heaviest of all backpacks available in the market. It is perfect for those who carry tons of gear and want the experience to be comfortable and supportive. The large profile of the pack, detachable Daypack, and the cushioned hip belt, adds to its weight.

Fit

The Osprey Aether AG 70 backpacks are built to fit your torso frame well. The shoulder straps on this backpack are adjustable. That means you can adjust it to your height. The Issue/Cons Of The Product

The only notable issue with the Osprey Aether AG 70 backpack is that its over 5 pounds weight makes it on the heavy side for a backpack.

Another downfall with the Osprey Aether AG 70 backpack is that the anti-gravity system makes the backpack a little squeeky when fully loaded. Personally, I didn’t like this as I wanted a to use this backpack for hunting and I thought it was on the loud side.

On the flip side, if I wasn’t using this pack for hunting, the comfort of the AG system more than made up for my minuscule complaint of the noise.

The backpack provides users with durability, quality, comfort, as well as convenience that no other company in the backpack industry provides. If you’re an adventurer who loves to pack heavy items and equipment, the Osprey Aether AG 70 backpack is the most suitable.

The rain-cover that the backpack comes with also ensures you can use it in any weather. Be it sunshine or rain. It is also one of the best when it comes to designs that provide for any form of adventure you’re preparing for.

This backpack is incredible. I love the hip pouches and how comfortable it is. Its not the quietest backpack as it squeaks. So it won’t be the best for archery hunters out there.
